“I Am A Warrior Too”

Our Secretary, Natasha Lambkin just made her film making debut with her premiere of “Warrior”. I had a chance to view the film during a private screening in Fresh Meadows Queens. The “Warrior Collection” was released last year and was seen on the runway during Brooklyn’s Fashion Week. Her clothing line “Tashee Inc” is not just your ordinary clothing line but also a ministry, her own personal story to the world. She uses her brand to empower women by sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. As women, we face so many different battles whether spiritual, mental or emotional and our life must be anchored in Jesus in order to win these battles. Well, this was the concept behind Tashee Inc’s “Warrior Collection” and movie “Warrior”. Natasha walks you through the process in which we must endure in order to be victorious. Her success was not overnight and without giving too much away the film goes through the different stages she herself had to overcome in order to see her vision come to life. There is still much work to do but she is not afraid to tackle it head on because after all she is a “Warrior”. It really is a must see for anyone going through any current difficulty and feel like their feet is stuck in concrete with no way of escape. One of my favorite scriptures is found in 1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation [regardless of its source] has overtaken or enticed you that is not common to human experience [nor is any temptation unusual or beyond human resistance]; but God is faithful [to His word—He is compassionate and trustworthy], and He will not let you be tempted beyond your ability [to resist], but along with the temptation He [has in the past and is now and] will [always] provide the way out as well, so that you will be able to endure it [without yielding, and will overcome temptation with joy]“. There is not one battle God can’t get you through! This should comfort and bring some consolation to your soul.

There is a “Me Too” movement that was founded to give a voice to anyone male or female who has ever been a victim of sexual abuse. But there is another “Me too” I would like to focus on and it’s if God can do it for Natasha and others He can definitely do it for “You Too”. I am preaching to myself also because a couple of months ago God revealed to me my lack of trust in Him, not His ability to do it but His willingness to do it for “Me too”. I always write and speak from my own experiences believers are not exempt from periods of doubt or uncertainty, we too can allow doubt to creep it when we don’t keep our focus on the promises of God. But I want to encourage you that God is not a respecter of persons, which means if He can do it for others He can do it for “Me and You Too”.

Natasha will be releasing her movie “Warrior” on March 12th via her You Tube Channel: “Natasha Lambkin at 8 pm. Her Facebook/Instagram handles are www.facebook.com/tasheeinc and instagram.com/tasheeinc. Click on the links.
