Cynthia is a proud native of Brooklyn, NYC. She has achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College. She is currently working on her MPA degree. She began her career in Healthcare and has worked in that field for the past 9 years. Cynthia is also a member of the outreach ministry at her home church.
As an avid lover of writing and Jesus, she began her blog in 2016 and built up a following of women needing empowerment. She witnessed the struggles her mom faced raising her as a single mother. Now a single mom herself, she hopes to break this generational cycle through her faith in God.
After the success of her blog, she was inspired than with the need of a non-profit organization. She strongly believes that “no experience in your life will be wasted”. She put in the hard work and effort in order to create Hope Deferred Inc., which was launched this year. She is now the founder of Hope Deferred Inc. a non-profit organization she hopes will help inspire women to live a better life.
