On September 5, 2019, we hosted the Back to School Blessing at Community Outreach, NY—a meaningful event designed to equip children and families for a successful new school year while offering spiritual encouragement and practical support. This gathering brought together the local community to celebrate, uplift, and empower families, especially those headed by single mothers.
Supporting Students
A major highlight of the day was the distribution of school supplies to children of single mothers. Backpacks, notebooks, pencils, and other essential items were provided to ensure that every child was prepared for the academic year ahead. By alleviating some of the financial pressures associated with back-to-school shopping, we hoped to give families a sense of relief and encouragement.
