Our time is precious. We don’t want to open ourselves up to a person who God did not send. It will be more difficult to hear God’s direction when our feelings and emotions are in control.

Feelings lie. We need the leading of The Holy Spirit to helps us discern lies and the truth.

When we are led by emotions we make foolish decisions and we have to remember “the heart is deceitful” (Jeremiah 17:9). It is ungodly to be led by emotions. We all experience human emotions that is why we need a fresh infilling of the The Holy Spirit every day in order to tame our feelings.
